Choices (2)

Choices (2): In Genesis 13:8-18 we read of Abram's and Lot's choices. V.12-13 "and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. But the men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked and sinful against the Lord." And V.18 "Then Abram moved his tent, and went...and built an altar there to the Lord." The choices they made affected their lives greatly! Our choices and decisions in our daily lives will affect our lives greatly, also! We make choices every day!
Do all of us depend upon the Lord for our decision-making? If we do not, we should! Leaving God out of our decisions will lead us down the wrong path in life. The right way was Abram's choice: he "built an altar to the Lord." Abram was the friend of God and chose regularly to commune with Him. In addition, Abram took time with God, caring about his family and their decisions! Again, every day we make choices and decisions: who will you depend upon? God or yourself or the devil? A closing question: do you want to go to heaven, where those who have accepted Jesus Christ into their lives will go, or do you choose hell, where those who deny the Lord Jesus Christ will go? Which is it? Please make a comment to this blog on your choice. Writer, Jim Kultau
